Tender Description
The Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) (MM Directorate) in Sukkur is procuring Personal Safety Proximity Voltage Detectors for the financial year 2025-26. This procurement involves supply of 1586 units of voltage detectors to be delivered on a Free Consignee Stores (FCS) basis to Regional Stores Rohri and Larkana within 90 days or earlier. The items are critical for ensuring safety of utility line staff by detecting live voltage on 11 kV overhead lines before maintenance work.
The technical scope requires compliance with NTDC/SEPCO specifications including prototype approval from Chief Engineer (S&S) NTDC. Bidders must submit samples and technical data for evaluation. The procurement follows a Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). Eligibility criteria include registration with SEPCO/DISCOs/NTDC/GENCOs, FBR registration, ATL status, and minimum 2 years experience with similar supplies supported by purchase orders and completion certificates.
Key dates include bid submission deadline on June 9, 2026 at 10:30 AM via EPADS v2.0 with bid opening at 12:00 PM same day. Original bid security must be submitted physically before deadline. Bidders should ensure timely submission of prototype samples within 30 days of purchase order to avoid liquidated damages. Delivery and inspection will be strictly monitored with penalties for delays.
A practical tip for bidders is to register early on EPADS v2.0 and carefully prepare technical and financial bids ensuring all required documents including authorization letters, tax certificates, and no litigation declarations are attached. Proper marking and sequencing of bid documents will help avoid disqualification. Strict adherence to specifications and timely submission of samples will improve chances of success. This tender offers a significant opportunity for qualified suppliers to engage with SEPCO for a critical safety equipment supply contract.
