Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) invites sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) for the procurement of 132KV SPG Poles and Templates under the reference number P79339 for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is managed by the Manager Procurement (PMU) MEPCO located at Khanewal Road, Multan. Items being procured:
- SPG Poles without Grounding Bolts & Templates (Power transmission steel tower)
- Bolts & Templates for SPG pole (Power transmission steel tower)
The goods must conform to NTDC Specification P-166:83 (amended up-to-date) and come with a 2-year warranty. The delivery schedule is 120 days from the date of contract award. Bidders must be registered with FBR, have valid ATL status, and demonstrate relevant experience including at least two contracts of similar or higher rating completed in the last 10 years, and five years of manufacturing experience. The offered material should have been in satisfactory operation for at least three years with supporting operational certificates. Bid security of PKR 1,005,400 is required in the form of Pay Order, Call at Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft.
Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 10:45 AM on August 27, 2026, with technical and financial bids submitted in separate envelopes. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be conducted on the same day at 11:15 AM through EPADS. Interested bidders should register on EPADS and may seek clarifications by August 20, 2026. The procurement will follow Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submit the original bid security physically at the PMU MEPCO office before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
