Pre-Qualification of Automobile Workshops for Repairs and Maintenance of FBR Vehicles

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Islamabad invites applications for the pre-qualification of automobile workshops/firms/dealerships capable of providing repair and maintenance services for Government vehicles of FBR. The workshops must have their own state-of-the-art office/workshop in Islamabad or Rawalpindi and be registered with General Sales Tax, National Tax Number, and be on the active taxpayer list (ATL) of FBR. They must also be registered vendors with PPRA and have a bank account/IBAN number along with a vendor number assigned by AGPR. Items being procured: - Repair and maintenance services for Government vehicles including replacement of parts - Overhauling of engine - Denting and painting - Handling of software and electronic technology related to vehicles - Timely supply of spare parts, tyres, batteries, engine oil The workshops should have at least two years of relevant experience and be pre-qualified for similar works with government, semi-government, or private sectors. An affidavit confirming no blacklisting or involvement in arbitration/litigation in the last five years is required. Financial soundness must be demonstrated, preferably with a bank statement. Workshops must be capable of responding promptly to work orders, including odd hours, and provide genuine spare parts with warranty. Faulty parts replaced must be returned to FBR (HQ). Applications must include the name, postal address, phone, email, and fax numbers of the workshop. Only pre-qualified workshops will be eligible to participate in bidding during the financial year 2026-27. A security deposit of Rs 25,000/- in the form of pay order/demand draft in favor of DDO, FBR (HQ), Islamabad is mandatory. Sealed bids for pre-qualification must reach the office of Second Secretary (Transport/Store), FBR (HQ), Room No 540, Constitution Avenue, opposite Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad by hand or courier during office hours before the deadline. Payments will be made through AGPR Islamabad via cheque/MPG or directly to the vendor's IBAN account. FBR reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal wholly or partially or cancel the pre-qualification process at any stage under PPRA Rules 2004. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all registration documents and tax credentials are up to date and attach the security deposit as specified to avoid disqualification.
