Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors and firms by the Garrison Engineer (Army) II Malir for issuance of tenders related to various construction and maintenance works at Malir Cantt within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) in Karachi. The scope includes provision of certain facilities, construction of miscellaneous and minor works, repair, renovation, and maintenance of residential and non-residential buildings, and technical construction and electrical & mechanical works across multiple zones within Malir Cantt.
Items being procured:
- Provision of Certain Facilities / Construction of Miscellaneous / Minor Works at Malir Cantt (Each, up to Rs. 4.00 Million)
- Repair / Renovation / Maintenance of Miscellaneous (Residential / Non-Residential) Buildings at Malir Cantt (Each, up to Rs. 4.00 Million)
- Technical Construction, Building & Roads (B&R) works at Zones A, B, and C (Rs. 4.00 Million each)
- Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) works at Zones A and B (Rs. 4.00 Million each)
- Bazar Supply Material for B&R Items (Rs. 4.00 Million)
- Bazar Supply Material for E&M Items (Rs. 4.00 Million)
Contractors must submit applications to GE (A) II Malir with complete credentials. Only firms with sufficient experience and meeting special conditions for the job and area will be issued tender documents from 28 September 2026. The tender submission deadline is 30 September 2026 by 11:30 AM, with opening at 12:00 PM the same day.
Eligibility requires enlistment with MES in categories A, B, C, D, or E and registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Firms must provide certificates confirming no litigation or outstanding reports against them and submit detailed work experience for the last two years. Contractors not registered with PEC will not be considered.
