Tender Description
Additional Chief Engineer 5 Corps Karachi invites applications for pre-qualification of firms and contractors and issuance of tender documents for important electrical and repair works at the AOR of ACE 5 Corps. The works include replacement of old and dangerous electrical poles and damaged conductors at Hyderabad Garh, repair and replacement of pump items, motor items, starter (MCU) at pumping house No. 1,2 Hussain Line, CMH, Shami Line, Sarwar Line and Tufail Line at Hyderabad Garh, upgradation of Executive Engineer Sup and replacement/maintenance of feeder pillar for residential area bungalow at Block No. A, B & C at PNL, and replacement of lightening protection system for ammunition magazine at PNL Garh.
Items being procured:
- Replacement of old/dangerous electrical poles and damaged conductors at Hyderabad Garh
- Repair/replacement of pump items, motor items, starter (MCU) at pumping house No. 1,2 Hussain Line, CMH, Shami Line, Sarwar Line & Tufail Line at Hyderabad Garh

Firms must provide MES enlistment certificates letter (Category A to D), valid PEC registration up to 30 June 2027, active income tax registration certificate, and list of completed/ongoing works. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. Tender documents will be issued only to pre-qualified firms. Bids must be received by the Additional Chief Engineer 5 Corps by 29 October 2026 at 1130 hours and will be opened at 1200 hours the same day. Firms may attend the tender opening. The accepting officer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender as per Para-33 of PPRA Rules 2004.
For best chances, bidders should ensure all required documents are complete and submitted timely. Early preparation of PEC and tax certificates is advised to avoid disqualification.
