The Military Engineer Service (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors and firms for various civil, electrical, repair, maintenance works and procurement of tools, plant and machinery at HIT Taxila Cantt. Interested firms enlisted with MES in category 'E' and above may apply. Those not on the approved MES list must provide a certificate with details of works executed in the last two years. Items being procured: - Certain Misc Civil & Electric Works in Residential/Non-Residential areas at HIT - Certain Misc Infrastructure/Services Works at HIT - Repair/Maintenance of Roof Leakage/Seepage in Residential areas HIT - Certain Periodical Services at HIT - Certain Repair/Maintenance Water Supply, Sui Gas, ACs Electrical works at HIT - Repair/Rehabilitation of Furniture Items/Steel Racks/Carpets at HIT - Certain Repair/Maintenance Works Roads/Foot Paths Infrastructure & Concrete Shoulders at HIT - Certain Repair/Maintenance Facilities (Internal/External Services) in various Officer/Worker Accommodations at HIT - Repair/Maintenance of Water Supply/Sewerage Lines, Manholes & Fiber Sheds at HIT - Repair/Replacement of Electrical/Sui Gas Meters & Ordinary/Street Lights in different locations at HIT - Repair/Replacement of parts of Turbine & Repair of different Overhead Water Tanks at HIT - Replacement of Kerb Stones and marking for different locations at HIT - Repair/Maintenance in Certain Masjids at HIT - Term Contract for Anti-Fire Works of the Buildings Located in Zone 'A', 'B' & 'C' Area at HIT - Term Contract for Internal/External Electrical, Sui Gas, Water Supply & ACs Works at HIT - Bazar Supply for Electrical & Mechanical, Building & Roads and Fire & Safety Material at HIT - Procurement of Tools, Plant & Machinery - Certain Misc Civil & Electrical & Mechanical Works in Different Factories area at HIT The scope covers a wide range of civil and electrical maintenance and repair works, including infrastructure improvements, water supply and sewerage maintenance, fire safety, and procurement of necessary tools and machinery. The works are to be carried out at HIT Taxila Cantt, a key defense industrial area. Eligibility requires firms to be enlisted with MES in category 'E' or above. Non-enlisted firms must submit detailed work experience certificates for the last two years. Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council is mandatory for issuance of tender documents. Tender documents will be delivered to qualified contractors later. Tenders must be received by 1130 Hrs and will be opened at 1200 Hrs on the prescribed date, within fifteen days after advertisement.
