Tender Description
The Institute of Home Economics, Art & Design located in F-11/1 Islamabad is inviting pre-qualification bids from eligible firms, workshops, and vendors for the Financial Year 2026-27. The procurement is aimed at firms registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR. Vendors must have their own offices, stock, and manpower expertise in Rawalpindi/Islamabad and possess at least two years of relevant experience in procurement, works, and services.

- Cleaning Items
- Hardware Items
- Drugs & Medicines
- All kinds of General Order Supplies
- Lab Equipment (Science Lab, Food Lab, Textile Lab, Interior Lab, Art Lab)
- Transport (Including Buses, Coaster, Hiace, Karvaan, Motorcycle etc)
- Plant & Machinery Items (including Photocopier Machine, Cyclostyle Machine, Air Conditioners, Water Dispensers, Water motors, Generator, Sound System, SMDs etc)
- Hardware Items (Computer, Laptop, Printers etc)
- Furniture & Fixture (All kinds of Furniture)
- Any other repairable item as and when required
The scope covers a wide range of goods and repair/maintenance services including office supplies, medical and laboratory equipment, transport vehicles, and plant machinery. The procurement will support the operational needs of the Institute across multiple departments and labs, ensuring smooth functionality and upkeep of assets.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR, have ATL status, and demonstrate relevant experience. The procurement follows the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules, specifically Rule 36(a) for single stage one envelope procedure. Bidders are advised to carefully review the detailed terms and conditions available on the PPRA website and the Institute’s bidding documents.
The deadline for submission is **06 August 2026 at 10:30 AM** at the Institute of Home Economics, Art & Design, F-11/1 Islamabad. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of the Purchase Committee and bidders’ representatives. Earnest Money or CDR requirements and other bid submission details are outlined in the bidding documents.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your firm’s ATL status and tax documentation are up to date and clearly included in your bid package to avoid disqualification. Also, submit a hard copy of the bid along with the electronic submission via EPADS to comply fully with the Institute’s requirements.
