Prequalification of Event Management Firms for Event Arrangements of PIDC

The Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (Technical) invites qualified Event Management Firms to prequalify for comprehensive event arrangements for the Inauguration Ceremony of Karachi Industrial Park (KIP) – Federal SEZ, a flagship initiative under Uran Pakistan. This prequalification is specifically for firms capable of managing high-profile events involving dignitaries such as the Prime Minister, Head of State, Governors, Chief Ministers, MNAs, and MPAs. The event will be held in Karachi, Sindh, and requires firms with proven experience in protocol, security, logistics, and hospitality for government-level ceremonies. Items being procured: - Event Planning and Coordination - Venue Development and Infrastructure including marquees, VIP lounges, carpeting, barricading, and stage décor - Stage and Ceremony Arrangements including podium, unveiling mechanisms, and master of ceremony services - Branding, Creative Design and Printing of all event materials - Audio Visual and Technical Services including LED screens, sound systems, lighting, and technical staff - Protocol and VIP Management - Security Facilitation and coordination with law enforcement - Media, Photography and Documentation - Hospitality and Catering services - Utilities and Support Services including power supply, air-conditioning, sanitation, transportation, and housekeeping - Gifts and Souvenirs design and procurement - Post-Event Activities including dismantling and venue restoration The scope demands full responsibility for planning, coordination, execution, and post-event closure. Firms must submit a comprehensive Event Execution Plan, demonstrate financial soundness, and provide evidence of successfully managing similar high-level events in the last ten years. Eligibility requires registration with PPRA on EPADS 2.0, active taxpayer status, and no blacklisting or litigation with government entities. Joint ventures are allowed with a maximum of two members. The deadline for submission is **September 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM** via EPADS v2.0 only; manual submissions will not be accepted. The opening of applications will be on the same day at 11:30 AM. Interested firms should register on EPADS v2.0 and may attend pre-application meetings scheduled for September 8 and 9, 2026 at PIDC House, Karachi. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required documents, including audited financial statements, CVs of key personnel, and proof of past event management experience involving dignitaries, are complete and uploaded on EPADS to avoid disqualification.
