Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the procurement of 12.7 x 108 MM test barrels along with reloading tools for Heavy Industries Taxila, located in Taxila, Punjab. The Supply Chain Management Directorate is overseeing this procurement under the category of Security & Safety Equipment.
The scope includes supply of a velocity barrel and a complete reloading kit comprising bullet puller, shell holder, priming tool, and die set, all compatible with Sydor's medium calibre test gun stand. The delivery period is set at four months after the opening of the Letter of Credit (LC). The procurement process follows a two-envelope system with separate technical and financial proposals, ensuring compliance with PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules.
Bidders must be registered with Heavy Industries Taxila and provide comprehensive documentation including NTN certificates, audit reports, bank statements, and OEM certifications. The tender requires submission of a bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt or equivalent. Firms must also comply with PEC category requirements and maintain valid FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26 to be eligible.
The submission deadline is set for 11 May 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:00 hours at the Procurement Directorate, Heavy Industries Taxila, Gate No 5, Taxila Cantt.
