Procurement of 120 Industrial Racks for PDMA Sindh FY 2025-26

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Rehabilitation Department, Government of Sindh, Karachi, is procuring 120 industrial racks for its warehouses located in Karachi, Jamshoro, and Sukkur for the Financial Year 2025-26. This procurement aims to enhance warehouse management, optimize storage, and improve handling of relief goods in anticipation of monsoon, floods, and other emergencies. The technical scope includes supply and delivery of racks sized 8 ft (L) × 3 ft (W) × 8 ft (H) with four loading levels, each capable of bearing 1,000 kg uniformly distributed load. The racks are constructed with 16-gauge MS pillars and beams, 20-gauge shelving panels, reinforced with support bars, and finished with industrial-grade powder coating. Stability is ensured with base plates for secure floor anchoring. Delivery must be made duty paid (DDP) to PDMA warehouses in scratchless condition with all manufacturer-supplied accessories. Eligible bidders must have at least three years of experience supplying similar goods, be registered with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and be active taxpayers. They must submit a bid security of Rs. 540,000 (3% of estimated cost) and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000. Bidders must be manufacturers or authorized dealers and provide complete technical documentation and a returnable sample prior to bid submission. Financial soundness and past experience with at least three similar assignments (one public sector, two private sector) are required. The bid submission deadline is 04 May 2026 at 14:00 hours via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS). Bids will be opened the same day at 14:30 hours at PDMA Sindh office, Karachi. The procurement follows the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended). Delivery is required within 15 days of contract award. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to vary quantities by 15% as per rules.
