Tender Description
The Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) invites bids for the procurement of 132kV STG material including 11kV and 132kV capacitor cells under the Power Distribution Strengthening Project funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This procurement is specifically for supply to the 132kV Qartaba Grid Station located on Bahawalpur Road, Mozang, Lahore. The scope includes 2,860 units of 11kV (200kVAR) capacitor cells and 200 units of 132kV (400kVAR) capacitor cells. Bidders must be manufacturers or authorized suppliers with at least five years of design and manufacturing experience of similar goods. They should have supplied at least 80% of the required quantities in the last ten years and demonstrate satisfactory operation of goods for at least two years. Financial soundness is essential, requiring submission of audited financial statements for the last three years showing positive net worth and adequate liquidity for contract execution.
Interested bidders should obtain bidding documents from the Office of the Chief Engineer (Development) LESCO, Project Management Unit, Lahore. A nonrefundable fee of PKR 5,000 or USD equivalent is required for the bidding documents. Bids must be submitted by 17th August 2026 at 11:00 am Pakistan Standard Time to the same office address. Earnest Money and Bid Security as per bidding documents are mandatory. Late submissions will be rejected.
