Procurement of 150 Branded Desktop Computers for Faculty of IT at Sindh Madressatul Islam University Karachi

Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU), Karachi invites electronic bids through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) for the procurement of 150 branded desktop computers specifically for the Faculty of IT. Items being procured: - 150 branded desktop computers with Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 or equivalent latest-generation processors - Minimum 16 GB DDR5 RAM, 5600 MT/s or higher - Minimum 512 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD with Opal/equivalent encryption - Integrated or better branded graphics - Integrated Gigabit Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth - USB Keyboard (English layout) and USB Optical Mouse - Minimum 21.5-inch Full HD LED Monitor (1920 × 1080 resolution) - Power supply minimum 200W, 90% efficiency or higher - Without Operating System - Minimum 3 years comprehensive OEM warranty - All standard cables and accessories required for complete operation The technical scope requires all components including desktop, monitor, keyboard, and mouse to be of the same manufacturer/brand. The quoted OEM/brand must be among the top 3 brands in the latest Gartner report relevant to the PC/Desktop category. After sales service and support must be available in Karachi. Bidders must be registered with valid NTN and GST certificates and provide OEM certification. The technical evaluation will be based on compliance with specifications, business presence, relevant experience, and support availability. Key dates include the submission deadline on Thursday 24th September 2026 by 2:30 pm via EPADS. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 3:00 pm in Conference Room No. 2, SMIU main city campus, Aiwan-e-Tijarat Road, Karachi. Original instruments for tender fee and bid security (2% of bid price) must be submitted in sealed envelopes prior to the deadline.
