Procurement of AAC WASP (7/.173) Bare Aluminum Electrical Cable

The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of AAC WASP (7/.173) bare aluminum electrical cable as per NTDC specifications (P-63:2007 amended to date). This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be executed under a National Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2026. Items being procured: - AAC WASP (7/.173) bare aluminum electrical cable, quantity 179.52 Km The cables must conform to the technical specifications provided by NTDC and will be inspected jointly by the Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and CEO HAZECO Abbottabad or their authorized representatives. Inspection will be conducted within Pakistan at the supplier's premises. The supplier must provide a 0.5% non-reimbursable inspection fee along with the inspection call. Delivery is scheduled within 90 days to the HAZECO Regional Store Abbottabad. Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and provide evidence of prior supply orders with DISCOs or WAPDA formations for similar or higher rated materials. Bidders must not be blacklisted or debarred by any government entity. Bid security in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee is mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 10:30 AM on Friday, November 13, 2026, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure compliance with all eligibility, technical, and financial requirements. Registration on EPADS v2.0 is mandatory for participation. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely submission of original bid security to HAZECO HQ, Gulistan Colony, College Road, Abbottabad before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Also, attend the pre-bid meeting if scheduled and seek clarifications through EPADS to avoid technical non-compliance.
