Tender Description
Pakistan Airports Authority Karachi is inviting bids for the procurement of advanced scanning machines to enhance security and operational efficiency at its airports. The tender specifically covers two key procurements: one cargo/vehicle scanner and three hold baggage CT scanning machines. These high-tech devices are critical for ensuring thorough inspection and safety compliance in airport operations.

- Qty. 01 Cargo / Vehicle Scanner for JIAP Karachi
- Qty. 03 Hold Baggage CT Scanning Machines for PAA Airports
The procurement involves supply of sophisticated scanning equipment designed for cargo, vehicles, and baggage inspection. These machines must meet stringent technical specifications to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with international aviation security standards. The site of delivery and operation is Karachi, Sindh, under the jurisdiction of Pakistan Airports Authority.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and ATL, and demonstrate relevant experience in supplying similar security scanning equipment. Earnest Money in the form of Fixed Bid Security is required, amounting to Rs. 35,625,000 for the cargo scanner and Rs. 72,225,000 for the baggage scanners. Bidders should prepare comprehensive Technical and Financial Bids as per tender requirements.
The bid submission deadline is 24th August 2026 for the cargo scanner and 25th August 2026 for the baggage scanners, both by 11:00 AM. Bid opening will follow on the same respective dates at 11:30 AM at the Logistics Center (S), Log. ANS Branch Karachi. Interested parties should submit bids in accordance with the detailed instructions provided by the Pakistan Airports Authority.
