Procurement of Consumable Stores under ALP-Project, Development of ATOPlex NGS Library Preparation Kit for Massively Parallel Sequencing of Wheat, Rice & Maize for Genomic & Pre-Breeding Applications

The National Agricultural Research Centre (National Institute for Genomics & Advanced Biotechnology) Islamabad invites sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 for the procurement of consumable stores under the ALP-Project. This procurement is specifically for the development of the ATOPlex NGS Library Preparation Kit for massively parallel sequencing of wheat, rice, and maize for genomic and pre-breeding applications. The procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 with expected commencement on Monday, November 30, 2026. Items being procured: - Agarose 500-Gram Packing Thermo/Sigma or Equivalent (Quantity: 2) - Super ScriptTM-III PlatinumTM One-Step qRT-PCR Kit 500-Reaction Kit Invitrogen/Thermo Fisher Scientific or Equivalent (Quantity: 1) - Trizole (200ml) Invitrogen/Thermo Fisher Scientific or Equivalent (Quantity: 7) - Dream Taq DNA Polymerase 500 Units (200-Reaction) Invitrogen/Thermo Fisher Scientific or Equivalent (Quantity: 10) - Cloth Bags Size: 15 x 12 Local (Quantity: 100) - Seed Trays (128-Holes) Local (Quantity: 100) - Gloves (Small, Medium & Large) 05-Pack Each (Total: 15-Packs) Standard or Equivalent (Quantity: 15 packs) - Polyethene Bags Local (Quantity: 50) - Nursery Pots Size: 9 inch Local (Quantity: 100) - Peat Moss (Bag) Imported (Quantity: 4) The technical scope includes supply of laboratory consumables and chemicals conforming to specified international or local standards. Delivery is scheduled within 90-120 days to the National Institute of Genomics & Advanced Biotechnology, National Agricultural Research Centre, Park Road, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad. Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and NADRA, and comply with all eligibility criteria including active taxpayer status. Bid security in the form of Pay Order, Call at Deposit, or Demand Draft is required. Bids will be evaluated on a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Friday, November 6, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Original bid security must be submitted physically to the National Institute of Genomics & Advanced Biotechnology, National Agricultural Research Centre, Park Road, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad before the deadline. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM via EPADS v2.0. Manual submissions are not accepted.
