Procurement of Medical Equipment for Peshawar Institute of Cardiology

Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC-MTI), a project under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department, invites eligible bidders registered with FBR for Income Tax, Sales Tax and listed on the Active Tax Payer (ATL) list, as well as registered with EPADS, to submit bids for the procurement of various medical equipment. This procurement aims to enhance cardiac treatment and research facilities in the public sector in Peshawar. Items being procured: - Ultrasound Machine - Portable Ultrasound Machine - Cardiac Monitors (5 Parameter) - Cardiac Monitors (7 Parameter) - Transport Patient Monitor - Defibrillator Machine (For Paeds ICU) - Dynamap Machine Portable with Stand - ECG Machine (12 Channel) - Blood Warmer - Blood Shaker - Pharmaceutical Refrigerators Double Door - Medication Fridge Small - Biological Refrigerators Single Door The technical scope includes supply of advanced diagnostic and monitoring equipment suitable for cardiac care units. Bidders must ensure compliance with specifications detailed in the bidding documents available on EPADS. A bid security of 3% of the total bid value is required, submitted as a Pay Order from a scheduled bank in favor of the Hospital Director, Peshawar Institute of Cardiology. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 29th, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Manager Material Management office, 1st Floor, OPD Building, PIC-MTI. Bidders are encouraged to attend to clarify any queries. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by November 12th, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Original bid security must be delivered to the Manager Material Management office by the same deadline; failure to do so will result in bid rejection. Bids submitted by hand, post, courier, email, or fax will not be accepted. Income Tax, stamp duty, Professional Tax, and KPRA or other government taxes will be charged as per rules; however, PIC-MTI is exempt from General Sales Tax. The procurement process will follow KP-PPRA rules. The Hospital Director reserves the right to cancel any or all bids with valid reasons under Rule 47 of KP-PPRA.
