Tender Description
The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of Current Transformer LT 300/5 Amp under Tender No. 1994/26, reference P111499, for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is planned for delivery to Regional Store HESCO at Hyderabad, Jamshoro, and Nawabshah. Items being procured:
- Current Transformer LT 300/5 Amp (Quantity: 800 Nos.)
The transformers must comply with WAPDA/PPMC/NTDC standard Specification No. DDS-80:2007 (amended to date). The scope includes manufacturing, inspection, testing, and delivery on Free Consignee Stores (FCS) basis at the specified locations. Inspection will be conducted jointly by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and HESCO representatives. The manufacturer is responsible for all inspection costs and must provide inspection certificates and warranty documents.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with FBR, on the Active Taxpayers List, pre-qualified with HESCO/DISCOs/NTDC/PPMC/WAPDA, and not blacklisted. Bidders must submit bid security or bid securing declaration and comply fully with technical specifications without deviation. Experience of at least one similar purchase order in the last five years is mandatory.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. Bid opening will occur the same day at 11:30 AM on EPADS. Performance security of 5% of contract value is required within 14 days of Letter of Intent issuance. Partial deliveries and payments are allowed.
