Procurement of Diet for Patients (Diet-Enteric, Feeding and Food Supplements) on Framework Contract Basis at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma, Karachi

The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi, invites bids for the procurement of diet for patients including diet-enteric, feeding, and food supplements on a framework contract basis for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is intended to supply nutritional feeds and supplements to SMBBIT and its satellite trauma centers across Sindh Province. Items being procured: - Ensure/Neutrement/LIVITY 400gm (Nutrition Feed for Adults) - 3,331 Tins - Glucerna 400gm (Nutrition Feed in Diabetes) - 500 Tins - Beneprotein 264g / Proteios - 150 Tins - Proteios 250g - 150 Tins - Pediasure 400g (Nutrition Feed for Peads) - 450 Tins - Similac 1 for (0 to 6 months) 360g - 150 Tins - Lactogen 1 / Similac 2 for (6 to 12 months) 360g - 150 Tins - Lactogen 2 / Similac 3 for (12 to 36 months) 360g - 150 Tins - Lactogen 3 / Neo-Mune 400g (Nutrition Supplement for Post Surgery & Sepsis) - 500 Tins - Isocal Powder (Lactose Free Nutrition Feed) - 200 Tins - Gen DM MF 400gm (Nutrition Feed in diabetes, prediabetes, or hyperglycemia) - 500 Tins The technical scope includes supplying certified, CE/FDA approved, and DRAP registered nutritional products meeting the specifications outlined in the bidding documents. Delivery is required within one month of the supply order to SMBBIT Karachi and its satellite centers. Bidders must be registered with EPADS SPPRA and comply with all tax and registration requirements. A bid security of 5% of the total quoted price and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 5,000 in the form of a pay order are mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS SPPRA before the closing date. Samples of all quoted items must be submitted in commercial packaging at least two days prior to bid submission, clearly marked with section and item numbers. The procurement committee will conduct a final technical evaluation based on experience, compliance, and sample quality. Liquidated damages apply for delayed delivery. Bidders are advised to carefully review all tender documents and ensure complete submission to avoid rejection. The deadline for bid submission is strictly enforced.
