Tender Description

The District Health Officer Malakand at Batkhela invites electronic bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (e-PADS) under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) for the Financial Year 2026-27. This procurement is conducted under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) rules for goods, works, and services. Items being procured: - Local Purchase of Emergency Medicines - Surgical Disposables and Medicines - Vaccines and Biologicals - Dental Items - Laboratory and Blood Bank Reagents/Chemicals - Medical Gases and Allied Items - Furniture and Fixtures - Electrical and Plumbing Items - Contingency Items - Medical Instruments and Equipment - Information Technology (IT) Equipment - X-Ray Films - Stationery Items - Bedding and Clothing Items - ECG and Ultrasound Accessories/Items - Printing and Publication - Repair of Equipment and Vehicles The procurement covers a wide range of medical and related supplies including emergency medicines, surgical disposables, vaccines, medical gases, laboratory reagents, IT equipment, furniture, electrical and plumbing items, and repair services for equipment and vehicles. Bidders must be registered with e-PADS, FBR, and KPRA, and for serial numbers 1 to 3, a valid Category-A Drug Sale License is mandatory. Separate bids are required for each item or service. Bids must be submitted electronically via e-PADS, with original Bid Security (CDR) submitted physically to the District Health Officer Malakand at Batkhela by registered post or by hand before 11:00 AM on 08 September 2026. Bids will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. All applicable taxes will be deducted at source. The contract rates will remain valid until 30 June 2027 or until a subsequent contract is awarded. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per Rule 47 of the KPPRA Procurement Rules. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your bid documents are complete, signed, and stamped on each page, and that all corrections are authenticated to avoid disqualification. Timely submission of both electronic bids and original CDR is critical to avoid rejection.
