Procurement of Endless Handrails for Walkways No 7 & 2 at Jinnah International Airport Karachi

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Karachi invites bids for the procurement of Endless Handrails for Walkways No 7 & 2 at Jinnah International Airport Karachi. This procurement is for supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, adjustment, and satisfactory operation of handrails compatible with Schindler Walkways Model 8133FWNX installed at JIAP. Items being procured: - Endless Handrail for walkway No 2, size approx. 82,945 mm, color black, make EHC Global or equivalent (qty 2) - Endless Handrail for walkway No 7, size approx. 66,795 mm, color black, make EHC Global or equivalent (qty 2) The handrails must be factory-vulcanized, smooth, wear-resistant, anti-slip, and suitable for heavy-duty airport operation with excellent abrasion resistance. Installation includes removal of old handrails, supply of accessories, tension adjustment, synchronization with walkway speed, operational testing, and handover in fully operational condition. Bidders must be registered with NTN and Sales Tax Departments, on the Active Taxpayer List, and not blacklisted. Technical qualification requires demonstration of origin, current production, installation capacity, and experience with at least two similar contracts in the last five years. Financial capacity must be proven with bank statements. Warranty of 12 months from commissioning against defects is mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically via PPRA E-PADS portal with original bid security of Rs. 250,000/- submitted in hard copy before closing date. Performance bond of 5% of contract value is required. Bid validity is 180 days. Delivery period is 90 days from contract signing. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated on compliance and total price respectively. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
