Tender Description
The Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites prequalification applications from eligible suppliers for the procurement of a comprehensive range of expendable items through an Open Framework Agreement. This procurement is intended to support HIT's ongoing operational needs in Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan, over a period of three years. The framework agreement will enable on-demand supply of expendable items via subsequent call-off contracts with prequalified suppliers.
Items being procured include a wide variety of expendable goods such as micro-polishing cloth pads, silicon carbide grinding discs of various grit sizes, thermosetting transparent resin powder, rubber suction nozzles, pipette fillers, UV absorbance cells, ultrasonic testing couplants, cut-off wheels, zirconium grinding belts and papers, dye penetrant chemical sets, argon gas cylinders, wire EDM coolants, molybdenum wire rolls, various cutting and turning tool inserts, welding electrodes, abrasive discs and wheels, plasma tip consumables, grinding discs, paint brushes, grinding wheels, 3D printer extruder kits and filaments, cleaning oils, lubricants, jubilee clamps, masking tapes, abrasive emery papers, tungsten carbide rotary burr sets, batteries, dies, steel shots, grease guns, rubber sheets, wire brushes, safety equipment, solenoid valves, ball valves, electrical actuators, buzzers, extension boards, nuts and bolts, batteries, cotton rags, various chemicals including acids and salts, asbestos sheets, insulating tapes, paints, and many other specialized consumables and materials as detailed in the full item list.
The technical scope covers supply of these expendable items meeting Defense and ASTM standards, with quantities estimated per year but subject to variation as per HIT's requirements. Suppliers must be capable of delivering within one month of purchase or call-off order issuance. Prequalification requires submission of audited financial statements, past experience contracts, registration certificates, and no blacklisting certificates. Samples of items will be required for inspection and testing at the prequalification stage.
Interested applicants must submit their applications in clearly marked technical bids to the Procurement Directorate, Heavy Industries Taxila, Gate No 05, Taxila Cantt, by 07 September 2026 at 10:30 AM.
