Tender Description
The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, is procuring glass water bottles along with recurring refill services for its H-12 campus. This procurement includes a one-time supply of food-grade clear glass water bottles in various sizes (320ml-330ml, 500ml, and 1L) and a recurring service for collection, washing, and refilling of these bottles with potable water conforming to Pakistan Standards. The bottles must have leak-proof, tamper-evident caps and be suitable for repeated washing and refilling. Delivery and return will be managed in returnable plastic crates to minimize breakage.
Bidders must be registered with FBR for sales tax and income tax, active on the tax payer list, and not blacklisted or under litigation. The procurement requires submission of a technical and financial bid through the EPADS system, with bids valid for at least 90 days. A bid security of 5% of the quoted value is mandatory. The contract period for refill services is one year, extendable on mutual agreement. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 05 May 2026 at 1100 hrs at the P&LP Directorate Conference Room, NUST H-12 Campus.
The final bid submission deadline is 13 May 2026 before 1100 hrs, with electronic bids opening at 1130 hrs the same day. Bidders must also submit a hard copy of the bid at the time of opening. The evaluation will be based on technical and financial criteria with a qualifying mark of 70%. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous bid.
