Tender Description

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) through its Project Management Unit (PMU) is procuring hardware material for its operations in Lahore, Punjab. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and involves supply of various electrical fittings and components such as single suspension fittings for rail, single tension fittings for rail and earth wire, mid span joints, repair sleeves, SB dampers, and earth wire tension assemblies with clamps. The materials are to be delivered to the LESCO warehouse at Chichuki Mallian, Sheikhupura, with a delivery period of 120 days from the issuance of the contract agreement. The technical scope includes supply of electrical spacers conforming to WAPDA/NTDC specifications with valid type test reports from designated laboratories or an undertaking for fresh type tests at the bidder's cost. The procurement requires bidders to submit detailed technical data, drawings, and schedules of deviations if any. Bidders must be registered with FBR, have NTN and GST registration, and provide evidence of satisfactory past performance and financial capacity. Joint ventures are allowed with a maximum of two members, and all members must be jointly and severally liable. Key dates include the pre-bid meeting on June 18, 2026, at 16:23 at the LESCO office near 132kv Qartaba Grid Station, Bahawalpur Road, Lahore. Clarifications can be sought until June 25, 2026. The bid submission deadline is July 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with electronic submission mandatory via EPADS v2.0. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submission of original bid security to the LESCO office before the deadline. Failure to submit original bid security will lead to disqualification. Also, bidders should prepare for pre-shipment inspection and type testing as per NTDC policies to avoid delays. Ensuring compliance with all technical and financial requirements will enhance the chances of successful award. The estimated cost is not disclosed, but the procurement follows strict PPRA rules and requires earnest money in the form of bid security and performance guarantees.
