Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the procurement of high-quality Heat & Cool inverter Air Conditioners for its locations at PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi. This procurement aims to equip PSO offices with energy-efficient and reliable air conditioning units that meet stringent technical specifications and warranty requirements.
Items being procured:
- Air Conditioner Split 1 Ton, Quantity: 2 units
- Air Conditioner Split 1.5 Ton, Quantity: 30 units
- Air Conditioner Split 2 Ton, Quantity: 18 units
The technical specifications for all AC units include inner parts such as air filter system, evaporator/cooling coil, swing motors, and LED display. Outer parts include condenser, compressor (rotary type), fan motor, fan blade, capillary, and outer body made of hard plastic (ABS) or metal. The units must have a BTU capacity of 12000 for 1 Ton, 18000 for 1.5 Ton, and 24000 for 2 Ton models. Refrigerants used should be R410A or R-32 with auto voltage adaptation from 150V to 260V. Additional features include precise temperature control, ultra-low noise operation, auto restart, fire-resistant electric box, high temperature resistance PCB, and double layer condenser. SEER value must be between 15 and 20. Accessories include remote control and standard installation kit (10ft). Warranty terms require compressors to have more than 10 years warranty, PCB boards more than 5 years, all functional parts at least 5 years, and servicing and labor at least 5 years.
Bidders must ensure compliance with PSO's quality standards and provide warranty cards for each product. ODM-manufactured products are not allowed. The scope includes labor, transportation, and all material charges. All government taxes and GST are included in the rates. Quantities may vary as per job requirements, and payment will be made accordingly. Quality is paramount, and only first-class approved materials and workmanship will be accepted. The contractor must follow PSO's safety and security rules, including the use of PPE such as safety shoes, gloves, helmets, goggles, safety harness, and belts. HSE guidelines and safety procedures must be strictly observed.
Delivery timeline is 60 days. Award criteria will be based on 70% technical evaluation score and 30% commercial score. Bidders should submit their best prices by the closing date. Earnest money and performance guarantees are required, and PSO reserves the right to take action against bidders for unsatisfactory conduct, misrepresentation, refusal to replace defective material, or failure to meet delivery schedules.
