Tender Description
The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of H.T. (Structure) 58' power transmission steel towers as per NTDC Specifications (DDS-78:2008) amended to date. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to strengthen the power transmission infrastructure in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Items being procured:
- H.T. (Structure) 58' power transmission steel towers, quantity 225 units
The technical scope requires compliance with NTDC/WAPDA/PPMC specifications, ensuring high quality and durability of the steel towers. Inspection will be conducted at the supplier's premises jointly by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and CEO HAZECO Abbottabad or their authorized representatives. Bidders must provide a bid security in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee and submit bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, relevant experience with DISCOs or WAPDA formations, and no blacklisting by any government entity. The bid validity period is 90 days, and the contract will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The delivery schedule is between 60 to 180 days with free delivery to HAZECO Regional Store Abbottabad.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents available on EPADS and ensure timely submission before the deadline of Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The bid opening will be conducted on the same day at 11:00 AM via EPADS. One practical tip for bidders is to register early on EPADS v2.0 and ensure all required documents, including bid security, are submitted in the prescribed format to avoid disqualification.
