Tender Description
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) PMU is procuring HT Type CT/PT operated AMR meters specifically designed for 3-Phase, 4-wire systems with programmable multi-tariff-TOU features and 4G GSM/GPRS modems. This procurement is targeted for the Lahore region in Punjab province. The meters must comply with NTDC design standards DDS-50:2007, DDS-98:2011, and DDS-110:2012, and support Universal Data Integration Layer (UDIL) for multivendor compatibility. The meters should have import/export features for net-metering applications and include lithium thionyl chloride batteries with super capacitors.
Eligible bidders must be registered with LESCO/DISCOs/NTDC/GENCOs and FBR with ATL status. They should provide valid manufacturer authorization, satisfactory performance certificates, and valid type test reports from designated labs or commit to fresh type tests at their own cost. The procurement follows a single stage one envelope procedure with bid security requirements and a bid validity of 90 days. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by June 30, 2026, 10:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submission of all required documents including bid security in original form before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Also, bidders should prepare for the technical evaluation by thoroughly complying with the detailed specifications and eligibility criteria to enhance their chances of success.
