Procurement and Installation of Two 5kW Hybrid Solar Systems

Government Post Graduate College Swabi is procuring and installing two 5kW hybrid solar systems to enhance energy sustainability at its campus in Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This procurement is aimed at reducing reliance on conventional power sources by integrating advanced solar technology. The technical scope includes supply and installation of hybrid solar systems featuring inverters with touch LCD, minimum AC output capacity of 5000 watts, and battery systems with lithium-ion capacity of 100 Ah and 48V DC voltage. The solar panels consist of 12 mono PERC type panels with 585 watt capacity each, framed with aluminum/steel and guaranteed for 25 years linear output. The mounting structure is anodized aluminum, reinforced for rooftop installation with waterproofing. Earthing and light protection systems are included to ensure safety and compliance with electrical standards. Additional accessories such as DC and AC cables, junction boxes with IP65 rating, and surge protection devices are part of the installation package. Eligible bidders must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KPPRA) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Firms should submit all required certificates along with the standard bidding documents. Bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) at 2% of the total bid value is mandatory. The successful bidder will also provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract value via CDR, retained until warranty expiry. Sealed bids must reach the office of the Principal, Government Post Graduate College Swabi, by 29 June 2026 at 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Late or incomplete bids will be rejected. This tender follows a Single Stage - Single Envelope procedure.
