Procurement & Installation of Two 5 kW Solar Systems

Government Girls Degree College Maneri Swabi invites sealed bids under the Single Stage - Single Envelope procedure from reputed and registered firms/contractors for the installation of two 5 kW hybrid solar systems funded by the College Pupil Fund. Bidders can obtain detailed bidding documents from the Admin Office of Govt Girls Degree College Maneri Swabi or from the KPPRA website. Items being procured: - Two 5 kW Hybrid Solar Systems (total 10 kW capacity) including Inverter, Battery, Solar Panels, Mounting Structure, Earthing and Light Protection, Other Accessories, and Installation. The technical specifications include a hybrid inverter with touch LCD, minimum AC output capacity of 5000 watts, IP-65 weatherproof rating, dual MPPT, battery voltage range 48VDC, and a 3-year replacement warranty. Lithium-ion batteries with 100 AH capacity, 48VDC voltage, 5000WH energy capacity, and 5 years warranty are required. Solar panels are TOPCon monocrystalline bifacial type with minimum 23% efficiency and 25 years linear output warranty. Mounting structure must be heavy duty anodized aluminum with anti-corrosion and waterproofing features. Proper earthing with less than 5 Ohm resistance and copper/GI earthing strip is mandatory. Other accessories include DC cables, AC cables, junction boxes with IP65+ rating, breakers, and automatic changeover switches. Installation, testing, commissioning, and insulation are part of the scope. Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with KPPRA and FBR, be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL), and have PEC registration with relevant EE11 code. Past experience with similar work orders and completion certificates in the same department is mandatory. Bid security of 2% of the total bid value in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) must accompany the bid. Quoted rates must remain valid for 60 days from bid opening and include all applicable taxes. Sealed bids must reach the office of the Principal, Govt Girls Degree College Maneri Swabi, on or before 12 November 2026 at 10:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Late or incomplete bids will not be entertained. The successful bidder shall deposit 10% of the contract value as Performance Guarantee in the form of CDR, refundable after successful completion.
