Tender Description

The Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi is inviting bids for the procurement of IT and General Store Items under the Financial Year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for the Rawalpindi region and is managed by the Local Purchase Office at the Central Ordnance Depot, Fort Road, Rawalpindi Cantonment. The tender covers a wide range of IT equipment and general store goods required for the depot's operational needs. The technical scope includes supply of IT hardware and general store items as per the detailed schedule of requirements provided in the tender documents. Bidders must prepare separate sealed envelopes for Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal, clearly marked as per instructions. The procurement follows the Single Stage Two Envelope process under PPRA regulations, ensuring transparency and competitiveness. Eligible bidders should be Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), authorized distributors, or suppliers registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, active taxpayers on the ATL of the Federal Board of Revenue, and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council if applicable. Experience in supplying similar IT and general store items to government or defense departments will be advantageous. The tender was published on 29th June 2026, with the closing date set firmly on 14th July 2026 at 10:30 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the Conference Room of the Central Ordnance Depot Rawalpindi. Interested bidders should submit their bids well before the deadline to avoid disqualification. The Local Purchase Office is available for any clarifications during working hours from 08:30 to 15:30. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all qualification documents, including financial proposals, vendor profiles, and technical proposals, are complete and properly sealed. Failure to submit any required document or incomplete bids may lead to outright rejection. Also, bidders should prepare a bid security equal to 5% of the estimated bid value and submit it within the stipulated time frame to avoid disqualification.
