Tender Description
The Ministry of Defence Production in Rawalpindi is inviting bids for procurement of items with brands duly authenticated by the firms. This corrigendum clarifies the submission and opening dates and procedures for the tender notice 2026-27 (PIC(1) 342/26). The procurement is specifically for items whose brands must be authenticated by the supplying firms, ensuring quality and compliance with required standards.
Items being procured:
- Items with brands duly authenticated by the firms (specific item list not provided in the notice).
Bidders are required to submit their bids in sealed envelopes addressed to Meraj Gul, Section Officer (DP-1), Ministry of Defence Production/DIPRA, Pak, Section No. II Rawalpindi. The bids must be uploaded on E-Pad as well as physically sent in sealed envelopes. The technical scope involves ensuring that all items meet the brand authentication criteria as specified by the Ministry, maintaining strict quality control and compliance.
Eligibility criteria include proper authentication of brands by the firms, and bidders should be prepared to provide Earnest Money and CDR as per tender requirements. Experience in supplying authenticated branded items to government departments will be advantageous. The bids should reach the Ministry on or before 19th August 2026 at 1100 Hrs and will be opened at 1130 Hrs on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. If the office remains closed on the opening date, bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and place.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission both online and in physical form, as non-compliance with the dual submission requirement may lead to disqualification. Also, carefully authenticate all brand documents to avoid rejection during technical evaluation.
