Tender Description
The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) based in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is procuring LT Current Transformers (CTs) of ratings 100/5, 200/5, and 400/5 for the financial year 2025-26. This procurement is part of HAZECO's plan to enhance its electrical infrastructure and ensure reliable power distribution in the region.
The technical scope includes supply of 60 units each of LT CTs 100/5, 200/5, and 400/5, conforming to NTDC Specification DDS-80:2007 (amended to date). The materials will be delivered to the Regional Store Abbottabad within 45 days of contract award. Inspection will be conducted jointly by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore and CEO HAZECO or their authorized representatives at the supplier's premises in Pakistan. The supplier must deposit 0.5% of the material cost as a non-reimbursable inspection fee.
Eligible bidders must have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, valid FBR registration, and a satisfactory performance record with DISCOs, NTDC, WAPDA, or GENCOs. Joint ventures are allowed with up to two members. Bidders must submit a technical bid including Form of Bid, Price Schedule, Bidder Information, and other required documents. Bid security in the form of a bank guarantee is mandatory.
The submission deadline is Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM via EPADS v2.0. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bidders should register on EPADS and upload their bids accordingly. The bid opening will be held the same day at 11:30 AM on EPADS. The procurement will follow Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) criteria.
