Procurement of M.S. Box (A) Type for LT TOU Meter

The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) based in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is inviting bids for the procurement of M.S. Box (A) Type for LT TOU Meter boxes. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to supply 500 units of these electrical boxes with free delivery to the HAZECO Regional Store in Abbottabad. Items being procured: - M.S. Box (A) Type for LT TOU Meter boxes (Quantity: 500 units) The technical specifications require compliance with NTDC Specification DDS-58:2001 including all amendments to date. The scope includes delivery within 60 days and adherence to quality standards as inspected by Chief Engineer (MI) PPMC Lahore jointly with CEO HAZECO Abbottabad or authorized representatives. Inspection will be conducted at the supplier's premises in Pakistan, and a non-reimbursable inspection fee of 0.5% of the material cost must be deposited. Rejected materials must be replaced at the supplier's expense without extension of delivery time. Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, NTN, and submission of prototype reports as per NTDC/WAPDA/PPMC specifications. Bidders must not be blacklisted or debarred by NTDC, WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs, or any government department. Experience with at least one purchase order from DISCOs or WAPDA formations along with satisfactory performance certificates is mandatory. The bidding process follows a Single Stage-One Envelope procedure through EPADS v2.0. Bids must be submitted electronically on or before Monday, August 3, 2026, at 02:00 PM, with bid opening at 02:30 PM the same day. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bid security in the form of Call at Deposit or Bank Guarantee is required, and the bid price must be fixed in PKR. The contract will be awarded based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submit the original bid security physically at HAZECO HQ, Gulistan Colony, College Road, Abbottabad before the deadline to avoid disqualification. Also, prepare all required documents including technical data, financial reports, and integrity pact as per the bidding documents to ensure compliance and avoid rejection.
