Tender Description
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is procuring networking infrastructure equipment specifically for the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC) project. This procurement is critical to enhance the IT backbone of the healthcare facility located in Rawalpindi, Punjab. The tender involves supply of advanced networking hardware and related infrastructure to support the hospital's digital and communication needs.
The technical scope includes provision of high-quality networking equipment that meets the latest standards and specifications as amended in the corrigendum. Bidders must submit separate technical and financial bids, duly completed, signed, and stamped, ensuring full compliance with the tender documents. The procurement process follows the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014, and all bids must be submitted online via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) by 1100 hours on 30 June 2025. The bids will be opened at 1130 hours on the same day.
Eligible bidders should be registered with FBR and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying similar IT infrastructure to government or large healthcare institutions will be advantageous. While the tender document does not specify PEC categories, adherence to all technical and financial requirements is mandatory.
The amended tender documents are available on the official PITB website and the Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority portal. Interested suppliers should carefully review the corrigendum and updated specifications before submission. The submission deadline is strictly enforced, and late bids will not be entertained.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all bid documents are uploaded correctly on the EPADS portal well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. Also, maintaining a clear and compliant technical bid will improve chances of qualification for financial bid opening. This tender offers a valuable opportunity for IT suppliers to engage with a prominent provincial health project and expand their footprint in government healthcare infrastructure.
