Tender Description
The Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (SIPM&R), Karachi, under the Health Department, Government of Sindh, is procuring a comprehensive range of office stationary, general, plumbing, electrical, and other related items for its Head Office and satellite locations within Sindh Province. This procurement is aimed at supporting the operational needs of SIPM&R, a leading multidisciplinary rehabilitation institute serving approximately 500,000 patients annually.
The technical scope covers a wide variety of items including A4 and F4 papers, pens, binder clips, board markers, calculators, color papers, correction pens, glue sticks, highlighters, hole punch machines, lamination sheets, files, notice boards, staplers, tape dispensers, whiteboards, cleaning supplies, electrical items such as plugs, breakers, fans, LED bulbs, wiring, tools, plumbing fixtures, HVAC components, and carpenter tools. The procurement is extensive and requires suppliers to provide quality goods that meet the specified standards and quantities as per the detailed Bill of Quantities.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Income Tax and Sales Tax with the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB). They should have relevant experience, valid PEC registration if applicable, and must comply with all mandatory eligibility criteria including submission of Earnest Money (Bid Security) and adherence to the bid validity period. The procurement will be conducted under the Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure as per SPPRA Rules 2010 (updated March 2022).
The deadline for electronic bid submission through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) is **30th April 2026 at 11:30 am**. Bidders must ensure that the original tender fee of Rs. 10,000/- and the bid security reach the Procurement Department at the specified address before the deadline. The bids will be publicly opened on the same day at 12:00 pm and 12:05 pm respectively. Manual bids will not be accepted.
