Tender Description
Sindh Emergency Rescue Service (Rescue 1122) invites bids for the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and Uniform Supplies under a Framework Agreement for the fiscal year 2026-2027. This procurement is based in Karachi, Sindh, and aims to equip Rescue 1122 staff with high-quality uniforms and safety gear essential for their operational duties.

The technical scope includes supply of uniforms made from cotton and polyester blends with specific anti-microbial and anti-odor finishes, safety shoes with steel toe caps, and other PPE items meeting prescribed standards. Samples must be submitted for approval before full delivery. Bidders must provide a laboratory test report from an accredited lab confirming compliance with technical specifications.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be Pakistani entities with valid NTN, GST, and SRB registrations, at least three years of relevant experience, and not blacklisted by any government agency. Financial strength and technical compliance will be evaluated, with a minimum 70% technical score required to qualify for financial bid opening.
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by hand to the Director Rescue 1122 at the Headquarter near Baitul Muqaram Masjid, Gulshan e Iqbal Block-17, Karachi by 30th October 2026 at 14:00 hrs. Technical bids will be opened at 14:30 hrs the same day. Late bids will be rejected. The contract includes a 5% performance security and liquidated damages of 0.1% per day for late delivery, capped at 10%.
A practical tip for bidders: ensure all required documents including bid security, tax certificates, and affidavit of non-blacklisting are complete and properly bound as per instructions to avoid disqualification. Early submission and sample approval can facilitate timely delivery and contract award.
