Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is inviting bids for the procurement of PVC 4/CORE 120MM2 (37/.083) aerial cable to be delivered at MEPCO Regional Stores located in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and D.G. Khan. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is governed by the Public Procurement Rules, 2004 and related regulations. The procurement method is National Single Stage-One Envelope using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS).
Items being procured:
- PVC 4/CORE 120MM2 (37/.083) aerial cable, quantity 15 Km
The delivery schedule requires 50% of the quantity to be supplied within 60 days or earlier, and the remaining 50% within 90 days or earlier. The price quoted must be on a Free Consignee Store (FCS) basis inclusive of all taxes, duties, 0.5% inspection charges, and GST. The specifications conform to DDS-84:2020 (Amended to date).
Technical scope includes supply of brand new aerial cable meeting WAPDA/PEPCO/NTDC standards. Inspection will be conducted at the supplier's premises by the Chief Engineer (M.I) Lahore or authorized representatives along with MEPCO officials. The supplier must provide all reasonable facilities for inspection including travel and lodging expenses.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with FBR, have valid prototype approvals if applicable, and not be blacklisted by WAPDA or related entities. Bidders must submit bid security and performance guarantees as per tender requirements. Experience with MEPCO or DISCOs and compliance with quality control standards is mandatory.
Key dates include bid submission deadline on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 12:15 PM via EPADS v2.0 platform. Bids will be opened the same day at 12:45 PM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The bid validity period is 75 days.
Bidders are advised to carefully follow the instructions for bid preparation and submission on EPADS v2.0, ensure timely submission of bid security in physical form to MEPCO Complex, Wapda Colony, Khanewal Road, Multan, and comply with all technical and financial requirements.
