Procurement of Raw Materials for Furniture Manufacturing at SIDB Woodworking Centers

The Small Industries Development Board (SIDB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids through the EPADS (E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System) portal for the procurement of raw materials required for furniture manufacturing at SIDB Woodworking Centers. These centers are located in Peshawar, D.I. Khan, Karak, Mansehra, Haripur, Timergara, Batkhela, Swat, and Chitral. The contract period is for one year commencing from the date of contract signing with successful bidders under the Rule 31A framework contracting arrangement of the KPPRA Rules, 2014 (as amended), read together with the e-PAK Acquisition & Disposal (e-PAD) Rules, 2025. Eligible bidders must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities and appear on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Items being procured: - Sanding Belts different size as per our sample - Wood Screws different sizes - Nails different sizes - Welding Rods 12 No (Cotton 20 Kg) - Soft Boards as per our samples - Adhesive Solution (Samad Bond) - Grinding Discs different size - Pipe Cutting Discs different size - Rubber Strips 1 Inche' (Tyre Patti) - Rubber Strips 2 Inches' (Tyre Patti) - Sand Papers 0 No - Turkey Ambers - Red Oxide - Yellow oxide - Miscellaneous Items detail placed in the BSD The detailed specifications and bid securities are prescribed in the BSDs. Each lot will be evaluated independently with distinct criteria as per KPPRA Rules. Bid Solicitation Documents containing detailed descriptions, bid securities, evaluation criteria, and terms can be downloaded from https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk after advertisement publication until the last date of bid submission. The advertisement is also available on www.kppra.gov.pk and www.sidbkp.com. Bidders must furnish a Bid Security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or Demand Draft (DD) in favor of SIDB Pak German Wood Working Centre Peshawar. A scanned copy of the Bid Security must be uploaded on the e-PAD System, while the original must be submitted to the Pak German WWC office in Peshawar before the deadline. All bids must include a non-refundable tender fee of Rs.3,000/- payable to SIDB Pak German Wood Working Centre through IBAN Account No. PK86NBPA1512003097802808. Bids shall be submitted by uploading scanned copies on the EPADS System by the deadline. Bids submitted by hand, post, courier, email, or fax will not be accepted. The bid opening will take place on the same day in the Conference Room of the MD Office at Small Industrial Estate Kohat Road Peshawar. Bidders must upload all mandatory and relevant documents along with the bid security on EPADS. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per Rule 47 of KPPRA Rules 2014. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your firm is registered on the EPADS portal well in advance and upload all required documents correctly to avoid disqualification due to technicalities.
