Tender Description
The Punjab Institute of Mental Health Lahore is inviting bids for the procurement of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) equipment under the ADP Scheme for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically aimed at enhancing mental health treatment facilities in Lahore by acquiring advanced rTMS technology.
The technical scope includes the supply of rTMS devices that meet detailed specifications outlined in the bidding documents. These documents are available online on the e-Punjab Acquisition & Disposal System (e-PADS) portal and the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website. The procurement follows a single stage two envelope bidding procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and the amended Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
Eligible bidders must be registered on e-PADS with relevant registration authorities and tax departments. They should have valid FBR registration and be compliant with all applicable procurement regulations. The bid security is set at 1% of the estimated cost. Bidders are encouraged to review the bidding documents carefully and ensure submission of complete technical and financial bids.
The last date for submission of bids is 13th July 2026 at 10:30 AM, with the opening scheduled for the same day at 11:00 AM. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 6th July 2026 at 10:00 AM in the conference room of PIMH Lahore. Interested bidders should submit any clarification requests at least two days prior to the meeting via the e-PADS system.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration on the e-PADS portal and to submit bids online well before the deadline to avoid any technical or internet-related issues. Hard copies of bids are not required, and late submissions will be rejected. Bid validity is 180 days from the date of bid opening, so bidders should prepare accordingly to maintain compliance throughout the evaluation period.
