Tender Description
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) invites sealed bids for the procurement of SDR Cables under Bid No. 4997/IT-6405/Cables/2026-27/FOR(A)/ASRF/SCM dated 23 July 2026. This procurement is managed by the Supply Chain Management Directorate at HIT Taxila Cantt, Punjab. The tender calls for supply of specific items essential for cable assembly and related electrical works at the Advance System Rebuild Factory (ASRF), HIT Taxila. Items being procured:

- HB-13 Mold Z3 Rubber (132 Nos)
- HB-14 Mold Z4 Rubber (264 Nos)
- Glue Red Mesco BRAND (330 Nos)
- Silicon Tube HZ-705BNianheji (66 Nos)
- Soldering Station Waler (45 Watt) (1 Nos)
- Soldering Wire 0.2mm(70/30) (3 Kgs)
- Wire AFP200 0.2mm, 7 core (1320 Mtr)
- FR Thermo Fit Tube 10/5mm (1452 Mtr)
- FR Thermo Fit Tube 3/1.5mm (330 Mtr)
- FRDW Thermo Fit Tube 16/8mm (396 Mtr)
The technical scope includes supply of brand new, OEM-certified SDR cables and associated materials conforming to the latest specifications and quality standards. Delivery is expected within 3 months after contract signing. Eligible bidders must be manufacturers, authorized dealers, or suppliers with valid NTN and Sales Tax registration, and must comply with HIT and MoDP procurement rules. PEC registration and prior experience with government or semi-government organizations are required. Bidders must submit a Technical Proposal with muted bid security and a Financial Proposal in separate sealed envelopes. Earnest Money must be submitted as a Call Deposit Receipt, Bank Draft, or Pay Order. The bid submission deadline is 19 August 2026 at 10:30 hours, with bid opening at 11:00 hours the same day at the Supply Chain Management Directorate, HIT Taxila. Postal order of Rs 2000/- must accompany the Technical Bid. A practical tip for bidders: ensure all mandatory documents including OEM certificates, audit reports, and CNIC copies are complete and properly attested to avoid disqualification.
