Procurement of SF6 Gas Cylinders and Testing Equipment for Gomal Zam Hydel Power Station

The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), through its Resident Engineer at Gomal Zam Hydel Power Station in Dera Ismail Khan, invites electronic bids on FCS basis for the procurement of SF6 Gas Cylinders along with other testing equipment for the Gomal Zam Powerhouse. This procurement is aimed at ensuring the availability of essential gas and testing apparatus for the GIS system at the hydel power station. Items being procured: - SF6 Gas Cylinders (15 cylinders, each 50 KG) - Cylinder Regulator (1 Nos) - Hope Pipe (Pressure 12 bar, Length 15 meters with connector, 1 Nos) - SF6 Impurity Tester (1 Nos) The technical scope includes supply of SF6 gas cylinders and associated equipment meeting the specified technical standards and dimensions. Bidders must provide detailed technical literature, drawings, and performance certificates from previous customers to demonstrate suitability. The delivery is free at the consignee store located at the Office of Resident Engineer, Gomal Zam HPS, WAPDA, CRBC, Dera Ismail Khan. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be bonafide manufacturers or authorized distributors registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and listed on the Active Tax Payers List (ATL) of FBR. A bid security of Rs. 250,000/- in the form of CDR is mandatory. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS portal (www.eprocure.gov.pk) by 02-09-2026 before 1200 hrs. Manual bids will not be accepted. A hard copy of the bid in sealed form must also be submitted to the Resident Engineer's office. The bid opening will take place on the same day at 1230 hrs at the office of Chief Engineer (Hydel), Chashma, District Mianwali. The procurement will follow a Single Stage Single Envelope procedure. Performance security of 10% of the bid price will be required from the successful bidder. Payment will be made in Pakistani Rupees upon successful delivery and inspection.
