Tender Description
The Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD) Karachi is procuring a comprehensive range of stationery items to support its administrative and operational needs across multiple network hospitals in Sindh including Sukkur, Larkana, Nawabshah, TMK, Hyderabad, Sehwan, Mithi, Khairpur, Lyari, and Baldia. This procurement covers a wide variety of office supplies such as ballpoint pens, registers, files, paper, markers, staplers, and other essential stationery items.
The technical scope includes supplying high-quality goods that meet the specifications outlined in the bidding documents. Items must be new, of good quality, and conform to the standards specified. Suppliers are required to submit samples for technical evaluation at least three working days prior to bid opening. The delivery schedule mandates supply within 15 days of the purchase order, with a possible one-week grace period upon valid justification. The contract period is one year, extendable subject to performance and approval.
Eligible bidders must be registered with FBR and have an active taxpayer status. They should demonstrate financial capability with an average annual turnover of at least PKR 25 million over the last three years. Bidders must also comply with PEC categories if applicable and provide all mandatory documents including NTN, STRN, and professional tax certificates. Blacklisted firms or those involved in corrupt practices will be disqualified.
The tender submission deadline is **04th July 2026 at 10:00 AM**. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS only, with original bid security submitted physically before the deadline. The submission address is Manager Procurement, SICVD Head Office, National Insurance Company Ltd Building, 9th Floor, Abbasi Shaheed Road, Karachi-74400. The bid opening will occur on the same day at 10:30 AM at the same venue.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all samples are submitted timely and meet the required quality standards, as failure in sample evaluation will lead to disqualification of the respective items. Also, strictly adhere to the electronic submission process and provide all required documentation to avoid rejection. This tender offers a valuable opportunity to supply to a prestigious government health institution with a framework contract that may lead to recurring orders throughout the fiscal year 2026-2027.
