Tender Description
The **District Council Dadu** is procuring the providing and fixing of solar street lights along with the supply of sewing machines for various villages of Union Council 46 and other areas within Taluka and District Dadu, Sindh. This tender is part of the development schemes for the financial year 2025-2026 and aims to improve infrastructure and livelihood in the region.
The technical scope includes installation of solar street lights in multiple villages, ensuring sustainable and energy-efficient lighting solutions. Additionally, sewing machines will be supplied to support local cottage industries and empower women in these communities. The contract duration is 36 months, allowing ample time for delivery and installation.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category, hold valid NTN and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) registration, and have at least three years of relevant experience with a proven track record. Firms must also be active taxpayers and not blacklisted by any government agency.
The tender documents can be downloaded from the EPADS (Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) website upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3000 via pay order. Earnest money of 5% of the bid price is required in the form of a call deposit or pay order. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS by **07-05-2026 at 11:00 AM**. Manual bids will not be accepted. The bid opening will take place on the same day at 11:30 AM at the office of the Chief Officer/District Engineer, District Council Dadu.
