Tender Description
The Town Municipal Corporation Gadap, Karachi, is procuring the providing and installation of a solar water system for an existing water bore up to a depth of 400 feet at Hashim Baloch Goth in Union Council Gadap. This project is specifically aimed at enhancing water supply infrastructure within the Gadap area of Karachi. The technical scope includes supply and laying of PVC insulated cables, installation of a new solar submersible motor and pump suitable for depths of 300 to 400 feet, laying of PVC pressure pipes, fabrication of solar panel stands, and installation of solar panels and inverters. The work also covers testing, commissioning, and performance verification of the solar water system. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category, possess valid Sindh Revenue Board registration, NTN certificate, electrical license where applicable, and have at least five years of relevant experience. Experience criteria include having completed at least one similar project costing 80% of the estimated cost or two projects each costing 50% of the estimated cost. The bidder must also demonstrate a turnover of at least PKR 4 million over the last five years. The tender documents are available online through the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SPPRA) e-procurement system. Bids must be submitted online by 11:00 AM on 7th May 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day at the office of the Director (Contract Management), Town Municipal Corporation Gadap, Dumba Goth, Superhighway, Karachi. Bidders are advised to ensure their bids include a 5% earnest money deposit in the form of a pay order and a non-refundable tender fee of PKR 2000. One original copy of the bid must be submitted.
