The Town Municipal Corporation Sohrab Goth, Karachi East, invites sealed bids for the work of providing and laying a 4 inch diameter water line from Ahsanabad Police Chowki Center Median to Go Pump Center Median at Maymar Avenue Road. This procurement is part of the development works planned for the fiscal year 2026-2027 under the TMC Sohrab Goth. Items being procured: - Excavation of pipeline trenches and pits in all kinds of soils with trimming and dressing - Providing, laying, fixing, jointing, and testing of high density polyethylene (HDPE-100) pipes, 4 inch diameter - Providing and fixing CI sluice valves heavy pattern with accessories - Fixing sluice valves with cast iron tail pieces including nuts, bolts, and rubber packing - Refilling excavated material in trenches with watering and ramming to full compaction - Special fittings for HDPE pipes - Air valve double acting - Providing chambers 3'x2' inside dimensions with RCC and brick masonry as per approved design The technical scope includes excavation, pipe laying, valve installation, chamber construction, and refilling works as per PHED schedules and standards. The site is located within the jurisdiction of Town Municipal Corporation Sohrab Goth, District East Karachi. Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category, have relevant experience of at least 5 years with similar works, and be registered with Sindh Revenue Board and NTN. Bidders must provide company profile, list of similar works performed in the last 3 years, construction equipment details, and qualifications of technical personnel. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 27,30,381 with a bid security of 5% amounting to Rs. 1,37,000.
