Provision of Drinking and Mineral Water for National University of Medical Sciences

The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) in Rawalpindi is inviting bids for the provision of drinking and mineral water. This procurement is aimed at ensuring a reliable supply of quality water for the university’s facilities. Items being procured: - Drinking Water - Mineral Water The tender requires bidders to have a minimum of five years relevant experience in supplying drinking water to public or private sectors. Bidders must be registered with the relevant tax authorities and appear on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for GST and Income Tax compliance. Additionally, bidders should hold certification from the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) or Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and provide a copy of the test report issued by PSQCA. The procurement process follows a Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure where technical and financial proposals are submitted separately. Technical proposals will be evaluated first, and only those technically qualified will have their financial proposals opened. A bid security equivalent to 2% of the total bid value is required in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), Bank Draft, or Pay Order in favor of NUMS. This must be submitted physically, while a scanned copy is uploaded on PPRA E-PADS before the closing date. Bidding documents can be obtained from the Procurement Directorate at NUMS upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 3,000. The last date for submission of bids is 12th August 2023 by 0930 hours. Technical proposals will be opened the same day at 1000 hours in the Conference Room, NUMS (ATR), Adiyala Road, Rawalpindi, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Late, incomplete, or emailed/faxed bids will not be entertained. NUMS reserves the right to increase or decrease the scope or quantities and to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with PPRA Rules, 2004.
