Tender Description
Applications are invited by the Pakistan Navy Military Engineer Services, GE (Navy) Central Construction Karachi, for prequalification of firms and issuance of tenders in accordance with Clause-13, 15 and 16 of PPRA Rules 2004. The procurement involves provision of furniture for two major construction projects in Karachi: the construction of a 256 men barrack Phase-II at PNS Dilawar and the construction of a sport hall (gym) at NPT&SC Karsaz.
Items being procured:
- Furniture for 256 Men Barrack Phase-II at PNS Dilawar
- Furniture for Sport Hall (Gym) at NPT&SC Karsaz
Firms and contractors enlisted with MES or other government departments with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Those not enlisted must provide detailed information for prequalification including list of movable and immovable assets, skilled and unskilled personnel, machinery and equipment, bank statements, GST registration, and NTN certificate. Contractors not on the MES approved list or suspended must deposit earnest money equal to 5% of the estimated bid cost in the form of FDR or CDR pledged to GE (Navy) Central Construction Karachi. This earnest money is refundable if the tender or contract is not secured.
Tenders must be submitted to the GE (Navy) Central Construction office located at Iqbal Shaheed Road, Karachi-4 by 1130 hours on 05 September 2026. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 1200 hours. The accepting officer reserves the right to reject applications as per para 33 of PPRA Rules 2004. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Bidders should ensure all required documents and earnest money are prepared in advance to avoid disqualification. Timely submission is critical as late bids will not be accepted. This is a valuable opportunity to work with Pakistan Navy MES on significant infrastructure projects in Karachi, requiring quality furniture supply and installation.
