Tender Description
The Pakistan Airports Authority Jinnah International Airport Karachi (Logistics JIAP) is procuring specialized services for the provision and installation of themed decorative lighting for two significant events: 14th August and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal celebrations. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is being conducted under the Public Procurement Rules 2004 using the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique.
Items being procured:
- Decorative series capsule-type bulbs (lari - Jota White and Green Light)
- SMD lights with stands
- Green/white floodlights (100W/150W)
- Border patti lights
- Rope lights
- Crescent and star motifs
- Main cables for power supply from designated Distribution Boards (DBs)
The scope covers the complete illumination and decorative lighting at Jinnah International Airport, including the front and side facades of the Jinnah Terminal Complex concourse, arrival-level canopy, KCL sheds, main terminal facia with national flag motifs, and departure ramp handrails. All installations will be on a rental basis and must use safe temporary electrical wiring, IP65 weatherproof fittings, and appropriate protections to ensure uninterrupted performance, electrical safety, and aesthetic appeal throughout the event period. The work will be supervised by the Engineer In-charge.
Eligible bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0, possess valid NTN and GST registration, and be on the Active Taxpayer List of FBR. Original bid security of PKR 20,000 must be submitted before the closing date, with a copy attached online. The performance guarantee required is 5% of the contract price. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS before the deadline of August 12, 2026, 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained.
