Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Military Engineer Services invites applications for the provision of lights in the basketball court at Khalid SRE, Karachi. This tender is specifically issued by the GE (Navy) Const Manora for pre-qualification of contractors and firms. Items being procured:
- Provision of Lights in Basketball Court at Khalid SRE
The scope of work involves the supply and installation of lighting equipment suitable for a basketball court, ensuring adequate illumination for sports activities. The project site is located at Khalid SRE, Karachi, under the jurisdiction of Pakistan Navy Military Engineer Services.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be enlisted with MES in the unlimited category or other government departments with relevant experience. Contractors not enlisted with MES must provide detailed information on previous works executed in the last two years, including agency details, amount of work, time allowed, completion dates, progress percentage, and department performance reports. Additionally, non-enlisted contractors must deposit earnest money in the government treasury or any scheduled bank in favor of GE (Navy) Const Manora, Karachi. A security deposit of PKR 300,000/- will be required from accepted contractors.
Key dates include the receipt of applications by 22 July 2026, with bid submission and opening scheduled for 06 August 2026. The earnest money is refundable if the tender is not accepted, and contractors must submit all required documentation including GST registration and NTN certificates.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure complete and accurate documentation submission, including the earnest money deposit receipt, to avoid disqualification due to incomplete applications. Familiarity with PPRA rules and MES enlistment requirements will enhance the chances of successful pre-qualification and tender award.
