Tender Description
Pakistan Navy Military Engineering Services invites applications for prequalification of contractors/firms for various construction and repair works at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi. The procurement is specific to Karachi and involves multiple works essential for naval infrastructure maintenance and development.
Items being procured:
- Provision/ Construction of Certain Facility at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi
- Repair/ Maintenance/ Minor/ Major/ Abnormal Repair Works at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi
- TC Int’l/ Ext B/R, E/M W/S & F&S at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi
- Supply of Fresh Water Through Bowzers to Misc Stations at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi
The scope covers construction of facilities, extensive repair and maintenance works including electrical and mechanical wiring and fittings, and water supply logistics through bowzers to various stations. Contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with renewal for 2020-2021 and have relevant experience in similar works. Firms must provide skilled/unskilled personnel, machinery, bank statements, GST registration, and NTN certification. Contractors not on MES approved list or suspended must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of estimated bid cost in form of FDR/CDR pledged to CMES (Navy) COMLOG Karachi.
The tender documents will be issued after prequalification by 07 August 2026. Submission deadline is 13 August 2026 by 1130 hours at CMES (Navy) COMLOG Karachi, with opening at 1200 hours same day.
