Tender Description
The 88 Ordnance Unit Okara Cantt is conducting a public auction for unserviceable vehicles at the Ammunition Depot in Okara. This auction is scheduled for the 5th and 6th of May 2026 and will be held on an AS IS WHERE IS basis. Interested bidders from Okara and surrounding areas are invited to participate in this unique opportunity to acquire vehicles that are no longer in service.
The auction will commence at 0900 hours on the 5th of May 2026. Participants must bring their original CNIC along with a photocopy for verification purposes. Entry fees will be charged from each individual attending the auction. It is important to note that the possession of explosives, combustible items, weapons, mobile phones, cigarettes, matchboxes, and wearing of shawls is strictly prohibited within the auction area to ensure safety and order.
Successful bidders are required to deposit 25 percent of the total bid amount immediately at the spot. Taxes will be collected as per applicable government rates. The terms and conditions of the auction will be announced prior to the event. This auction is a practical chance for suppliers and buyers to acquire vehicles at competitive prices, but they must be prepared for the AS IS condition and ensure compliance with all auction rules.
Bidders should ensure they have valid FBR registration and be prepared to provide earnest money as per auction requirements. The auction is open to all eligible participants, and no prior PEC category is required since this is a sale of unserviceable assets. The submission deadline is the auction date itself, so punctuality is critical.
A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly inspect the vehicles before bidding and be ready with the required deposit amount to avoid disqualification. Being well-prepared with identification and understanding the auction terms will help bidders make informed decisions and secure their purchases smoothly.
